My brother has recently sold his property near Cany Barville. Cercle Néerlandais d’Amis de Pays de Caux (Haute-Normandie)
Sinds mijn vrouw en ik in Pays de Caux zijn komen wonen, zijn we verrukt geraakt van deze streek in Haute-Normandie. Niet alleen vanwege de schitterende natuur, met de Atlantische Oceaan aan de ene en de Seine aan de andere kant, en de afwisseling van bossen door landbouw- en weidegronden. Maar ook vanwege de bevolking, die zich allervriendelijkst toont en in haar midden vele vakmensen telt op elk gebied dat men zich wensen kan.
Genoeg redenen om onder Nederlanders die ofwel zich permanent in deze streek gevestigd hebben, ofwel daar een tweede huis bezitten en in twee werelden leven, een Kring op te richten van Vrienden van de Pays de Caux. Zo’n Kring schept uiteraard de mogelijkheid ervaringen uit te wisselen en elkaar waar mogelijk van dienst te zijn (denkt u alleen maar aan de medische zorg). Maar het is vooral ook de bedoeling om een keer per jaar (later wellicht vaker) een culturele manifestatie te organiseren voor de bewoners van deze streek als dank voor hun gastvrijheid Ook Pays de Caux kent een rijke traditie aan volksmuziek en veelkleurige volksdansen, zij worden alleen weinig uitgevoerd. Onze Kring zou daar mede verandering in kunnen brengen. Daartoe wordt contact gelegd met enige navorsers naar en verzamelaars van de volksmuziek uit deze streek.
De plaats waar wij wonen, Bosville, nabij Cany Barville, is uitstekend geschikt voor zo’n cultureel evenement. Het heeft niet alleen een prachtig gerestaureerde kerk, zeer geschikt voor het geven van concerten door kleine muziekgezelschappen, maar ook een Chateau met een park dat geschikt is gemaakt voor culturele bijeenkomsten.
Ik moge u oproepen zich bij mij aan te melden als belangstellende van deze Cercle. Bij een aantal van vijftig belangstellenden heeft het voornemen kans van slagen en kan worden overgegaan tot het formaliseren van de Cercle in een Association; wij zullen dan ook een website gaan inrichten. Bovendien hebben wij contact gelegd met andere, reeds bestaande kringen en met de Federatie van Nederlandse Verenigingen in Frankrijk, om tot vormen van samenwerking te komen, waar dat mogelijk is.
Zodra u zich heeft aangemeld met uw gegevens, houd ik u – per e-mail of per brief - van de vorderingen op de hoogte. Ik zou het zeer op prijs stellen wanneer u andere Nederlanders die ook in onze streek wonen op de hoogte zou willen brengen van ons voornemen.

We finally decided to settle down in Pays de Caux and have been very lucky to find Cany Immoblilier. They directly understood what kind of house we were looking for and still better they had a choice of houses which matched our whises
Directly after we sold our property in Holland, Cany Immobilier has a house on offer which we bought directly after seeing it.
Since then Cany Immobilier was extremely helpfull and very professional in arraging everything, details, contacts, papierwerk, mechanica reports and so on. We were supported up to the final contract at the notaire and they are still supporting us now, what we call after sale services.
